The role:

The Sales Forecasting & Operations Analyst will support all aspects of the Operations and Effectiveness team, including sales reporting, sales forecasting, MDF (Market Development Funds) management, and special projects. The role will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity and provide support to the production planning, marketing, and sales team.What you will do:

MDF management for regional grocery accounts. Conduct monthly MDF workbook reviews and 3 in-depth annual reviews. This includes entry of Opportunity fund, processing pay by checks, working with AR on MDF deduction entries/errors, and collaborating with broker partners and AR on unknown deductions.Work with cross-functional teams (Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Finance) to develop annual shipment budgets, monthly projections including key drivers, and revised annual estimates for smaller brands. Identify and share shipment trends, providing perspective on promotional and distribution impacts.Serve as Sales representative on smaller brand consensus forecast teams, bringing the Sales point of view based on information the Field has provided.Review shipment and consumption to identify trends, latest distribution and promotional information, and recommend changes.What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field1-3 years' experience with an emphasis on data analysis, preferably in a CPG companyKnowledge of forecasting methodology and processGeneral accounting knowledgeAbility to take data from multiple sources and convert it to actionable informationStrong Excel skillsHow we work:
