They accomplish this by being quick, flexible and customer focused.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGThe Sales Operations Analyst will be a key leader within their organization, responsible for ensuring alignment and collaboration across multiple teams to maximize revenue generation. This individual will work closely with teams including Customer Success/Account Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to implement effective strategies and performance metrics. The Sales Operations Analyst will:Monitor and analyze large OEM Commodity Pricing Structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Track Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) raw material costs for all spot-buy customers, ensuring that current pricing is accurately reflected in quotes.Review and monitor job costs to ensure pricing adjustments are made as needed to maintain profitability.Develop and maintain quoting calculators to synchronize with internal quoting tools, streamlining the quoting process for increased efficiency.Maintain a database of all large quotes completed outside Global, ensuring visibility to all sales engineers for improved collaboration and strategic alignment.Establish cohesive communication channels among sales engineers across all remote sites, fostering consistency and best practices in sales strategies and customer interactions. Create and manage two regional groups (Cincinnati and 5 remote sites) to facilitate this effort.Lead the effort to identify and develop site leads at remote locations, building out localized sales teams to better serve regional markets.Conduct quarterly travel to remote sites to provide support, training, and ensure alignment with company objectives.Cultivate a deep understanding of part costs breakdown and serve as a knowledgeable resource for sales engineers and customers, providing valuable insights and guidance as needed.Collaborate with senior leadership to set sales goals, customer profit goals, and establish a yearly sales forecast, leveraging data-driven insights and market analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development.IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.5+ years’ experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related roles, with a strong preference for candidates with industrial sales experience.Proven experience using Excel for complex data analysis, sales calculations, and reporting.Highly analytical mindset with proven experience using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization a plus.Proficiency in ERP interface experience, with the ability to navigate and utilize ERP systems effectively to gather and analyze data.Proven track record of success in industrial sales or related fields, with a deep understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.Experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve revenue generation and operational efficiency.KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESHighly analytical mindset with proven experience using a variety of tools for data analysis and visualization.Demonstrated ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue operations and drive business growth.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.THE PAYOFFThis position includes a competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan and professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement.DIVERSITY/INCLUSION STATEMENTGilman Partners is committed to strengthening leadership teams and elevating the talent in our communities – and that means all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, ability, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or national origin.
