is actively searching for an experienced and driven Civil Engineer who is eager to join our dynamic team and contribute to an exciting project in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will have the amazing opportunity to provide invaluable engineering support to our project teams, where you will be involved in various design services. Whether it's drinking water, wastewater, or recycled water treatment and conveyance you will have the chance to showcase your expertise in these areas. Join us at AECOM and be part of an extraordinary team shaping the future of Sacramento’s infrastructure.Duties include but are not limited to:Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Proposes an approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.Identifies discrepancies in results.Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete elements for engineering works.Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.QualificationsBA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of relevant Water experience, including water, wastewater, or advanced water treatment and conveyance system.Professional Civil Engineering license or ability to obtain license within one year.Supervision of staff including delegation of engineering tasks.Experience with multi-disciplinary planning or design teams.Experience using CAD or Revit for mechanical design and layout of treatment equipment.CompensationThe offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
