Simply put, organizations today run over a complex jumble of old and modern networks and applications across on-prem and cloud environments, that are still being managed like it was the 90s, and a major reboot is needed.

Gigamon is the single platform that centralizes all data in motion to eliminate blind spots and optimize visibility for all cloud observability and security tools; it’s the plumbing, the tap, and the water filter.

Our Cloud business is growing rapidly, and we need a rock star Senior Product Marketing Manager to make this industry reboot a reality. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this Senior Product Marketing Manager for Cloud must have the depth to understand, innovate articulate, and communicate technical topics on monitoring and securing hybrid cloud applications. For this role we are leaning more towards someone with a technical background, such as product management, who wants to broaden (as in upgrade!) their career towards more of a strategic and outbound role.

Define a vision and an engaging “story” for Gigamon’s cloud products and go to marketCreate written and video collateral for new functionality and releasesMeet with customers and prospects, share our vision and understand their needsEnable Gigamon field, sales and channel partners with Gigamon's value in hybrid-cloud monitoring and securityCreate compelling thought leadership papers and blogsUnderstand the “landscape”, both complementary and competitive, and be able to create and execute plans accordinglyBrings technical confidence to their audience. This is an important trait for this role.What You've Done

7+ years with one or more of the following: IaaS, cloud migration, application monitoring or securityComputing/IT/Engineering or technical degree desired. MBA strongly preferred, but a business aptitude – through real-world experience - is essential.Experience in Product Marketing, or Product Management, or Sales Engineering is required to be successful.Passion and persistence in helping customers, partners, and sales understand and apply our solutions to solve problems.Deep familiarity with current and evolving security technologies, processes and key vendors especially in the areas of network-based detection and inline security tools, customer challenges with migrating and securing applications from on-prem to cloud.Experience developing/engaging with online customer communities including social media.Who You Are

Comfortable having technical discussions with customers who are migrating or building applications in private and public cloud infrastructureStrong collaboration & persuasive skills, showing ability to influence at multiple levels, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve business outcomes.Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences, including executives, mid-level management, engineers, customers, partners, sales and sales engineers, analysts, journalists, and social media.Ability to multiplex multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include health insurance, health savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program.
