The Senior Attorney will support our General Counsel in examining high velocity contracts, agreements and provide in-house counsel to the organization. Works closely with department leads to foresee and protect the organization from legal risk including responding to legal issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations.Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

Prepare, review, and revise contractual agreements.Analyze complex legal issues and conduct legal research on relevant laws, rules and regulations that may impact the organization.Provide guidance on compliance with federal and state health care laws and regulations.Review and analyze business arrangements for compliance with Stark, anti-kickback, HIPAA, etc.Support response to audits, subpoenas, and investigations.Assist with management of litigation docket.Create training materials for the company on relevant laws, rules, and regulations.Work proactively across all departments within the organization to identify legal issues and risk and provide practical advice through trusted partnerships.Qualifications:

Education:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolAdmittance to a state barCompetencies/Skills:Demonstrated excellent communication, analytic, and organizational skillsStrong ability to draft and review legal documents and apply legal advice in a timely and practical mannerAnalytical ability and strong attention to detailAbility to provide utmost confidentiality in all business-related mattersStrong interpersonal skillsCritical thinker and excellent problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience:3+ years direct law experience, required.Healthcare or industry-related experience required - Anti-kickback, Stark, healthcare law, HIPAA.Certifications/Licenses:Licensed to practice law from an accredited law school
