Description & RequirementsThe Marketing & Communications Manager position, located in the Winston-Salem office of Womble Bond Dickinson, will combine experience in marketing communications with innovative technology to help implement the firm’s communications, content development/management, and awards & credentialing goals. This professional is a member of WBD’s Communications team, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications and collaborating closely with members of the broader Client Development department to achieve goals. By operating at the intersection of marketing communications and technology, you will lead efforts to leverage technology-driven solutions to create efficiencies in our go-to-market content development, awards and honors program, and strategic communications initiatives.Responsibilities:

Lead project manager for the firm’s go-to-market content development for practices and sectors, ensuring alignment with our new tone of voice and brand promise. In this role, you will utilize generative AI tools (such as Jasper AI) to create process efficiencies and execute a plan/process for ongoing content development and updates.Contribute to WBD awards and rankings submissions, including Chambers and other priority firm/practice awards, and help implement a work plan for awards/rankings that aligns with the firm’s strategic focus areas.Create and maintain an awards and rankings repository utilizing the firm’s technology resources (such as Sharepoint) for increased efficiency and broader visibility across the department, utilizing Marketing Coordinator support as needed.Identify and implement additional firm-supported technology-based solutions and processes to help our Communications Team more effectively serve internal clients (WBD attorneys and Client Development team).Write compelling, brand forward content for WBD market-ready collateral and website that effectively promotes WBD service areas and sectors, alongside our Senior Communications Writer. Help ensure that our copy maintains a consistent voice and adheres to brand style guidelines and firm messaging across multiple channels.Develop communications toolkits and go-to-market resources that build engagement among internal clients (WBD attorneys and client development team) and that help support their marketing/business development outreach.Research industry-related trends and topics to identify gaps in our content and source potential topics for future firm thought leadership campaigns.Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or another related field.10+ years of previous marketing communications experience in a corporate or professional services setting.Proficient in utilizing technology solutions and project management skills in the context of marketing communications.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate persuasive and engaging communications style when it comes to professional writing skill set.Ability to edit and proofread firm content with precision and attention to detail and overall adherence to style guidelines.Initiative-taker with demonstrated ability to lead projects, meet deadlines and manage simultaneous priorities, working independently or as part of a team.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment across multiple disciplines with a client service focus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Pro Disabled and Veteran Employer.
