At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:Organize and prioritize preparation of food itemsPrepare food according to standardized recipesEnsure proper size and weight of food portionsCoordinate food preparation with other kitchen staffMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shiftFollow standard recipes regarding presentation of food itemsPrepare plate presentation pursuant to standard recipesClean and maintain kitchen equipment and walk-in coolerEnsure that kitchen area, including grill, oven, stoves, etc. remain clean and free of hazards during shiftKeep floor clean and free of food items, trash, or other obstaclesMaintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standardsPrepare kitchen equipment and set up station for shiftEnsure proper rotation of food items, including the lifting/moving food bins.Perform all opening and closing dutiesSanitation and Safety complianceGreat Attitude and teamworkAdherence to all House of Blues policiesAssist other Kitchen as neededJob Skills/Knowledge/ProductivityClean, neat appearancePunctuality/AttendanceWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:Knowledge of high-volume kitchen operationsAbility to inspect food spoilage and proper rotationExpediting knowledgeSkills in use of all kitchen equipmentAbility to follow standardized recipes and plate presentationAbility to maintain the pace of a high-volume kitchenProper sanitation knowledgeAttention to detailWorking environment is fast-paced and often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet, extreme HeatMust be able to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
