We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Stormwater Environmental Scientist to provide water quality compliance services to Department of Defense (DOD) clients.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:Prepare and review Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).Research, review, and analyze water quality policy and regulations.Support regulatory compliance tasks relating to stormwater management.Review and assess storage tank compliance methodologies employed at a facility and provide feedback and creative solutions to reduce overall risk of non-compliance.Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required.About AECOM’s Environment Business LineJoin AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world. We help clients reduce their impact on the environment, achieve compliance and reduce risks.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Science4 years of experience focused on water quality complianceDemonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that implement the Clean Water ActValid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role.Nationwide travel (50% of the time)Preferred QualificationsStrong focus and attention to detailStrong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skillsBasic knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD softwareKnowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to environmental compliance.Additional InformationDue to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
