As a Senior Data Scientist, you will become a subject matter expert, defining projects and their execution. You will lead small teams of indirect reports and mentor teams in best practices and methodologies. You will be working closely with other data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.Responsibilities
Leading the development of advanced AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problemsWorking closely with other data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI solutionsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business goals and customer needsAnalyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform AI developmentEvaluating and creating new frameworks and defining methodologies and governanceMentoring junior data scientists and providing guidance on AI and machine learning best practicesWorking with product leaders to apply data science solutionsLeading small- to medium-sized teams (direct or indirect)Requirements
Experience with machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forestsPossess extensive knowledge and skills in a senior data scientist positionHave experience in leading projects and customer relationshipsBe able to effectively lead technical teams through direct supervision or indirect influenceBe experienced in mentoring, training, and acting as a subject matter expert to guide colleaguesBe a natural problem solver, able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issuesExperience working directly with large language models and Transformer based architectures including BERT, RoBERTa, T5 etc.Experience and knowledge of applying LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, Claude, Mistral, etc.Experience with coding skills in Python or another programming languageExperience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)Possess a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related fieldWork in a way that works for you
