The Digital Marketing Specialist will work as part of a college communications team to help support the college’s digital marketing initiatives. We are seeking candidates with prior experience creating/coordinating social media content and campaigns (both paid and organic) on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also work independently and with other teams to maintain and update digital content on the college’s website.Minimum Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in digital communications, marketing, information technology, web design, or related field.Experience:

Two (2) or more years of related experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated ability to create engaging multimedia content and compelling copywriting.Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).Basic understanding of design and image assets such as .png, .eps, and .jpg.Working knowledge of WordPress and HTML.Basic knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and usability best practices.Strong quality control experience specific to an online environment.Excellent visual and written communication skills.Outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with all constituents within a highly diverse university environment.Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines.Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized.Ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results without close supervision.Preferences:Experience working in a higher education setting.Experience working with scientific or technical subject matter.Experience tailoring content for specific audiences.Has experience reporting on social media and website performance metrics.Familiarity with Google Analytics.Additional Information:
