JOB SUMMARYKutak Rock’s Omaha office is seeking an associate with 0 to 5 years of experience to join its Employee Benefits group. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills and be eager to learn about employee benefits law. 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply. This position is located in our downtown Omaha office.RESPONSIBILITIESWork with benefit plans subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and plans outside ERISA’s purview, such as governmental and non-electing church plans.Provide advice on federal, state, and international benefit matters.Assist clients with ERISA and tax law issues.Draft plan documents and amendments.Offer ongoing assistance with fiduciary matters and the day-to-day aspects of compliance and plan administration.QUALIFICATIONSSuperior writing skills.Excellent judgment.Intellectual curiosity.Law Degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school (2024 graduates will be considered).BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Dependent Life, Disability, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.
