JOB SUMMARYKutak Rock LLP is seeking a corporate attorney for its Corporate Finance/Tax Credit Group in our office in downtown Denver, CO. Knowledge of structured finance transactions, debt, equity and tax credit financing transactions is preferred but not a requirement.QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrated experience or interest in a corporate transactional practiceStrong desire to further develop superior drafting and negotiating skills involving a variety of financing, including solar tax credits and new markets tax credits, and including a wide variety of transactional documents (loan and security documents, operating agreements, guaranties, tax credit transfer and equity financing agreements, leases, purchase and sale agreements, corporate resolutions and consents, among other documents)Base understanding and desire to develop expertise in conducting financing transaction due diligence (organizational documents, title and survey, grant agreements and other diligence review)Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing, with clients and supervising attorneysAbility to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely mannerAbility to learn new substantive legal topics and factual subject matters as needed based on the nature of a matterAbility to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlinesStrong organization and matter management skillsAbility to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staffAbility to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction teamQUALIFICATIONS: Education and ExperienceJuris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law schoolQualified candidates must be licensed, or have pending licensure, to practice law in the State of Colorado.
