Sales DirectorWhat it Takes To Be a Successful Solutions Consultant (Account Manager):Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territoryMeet or exceed outlined sales goals for each manufacturer and distributor lineNetwork and keep in constant contact with distributors and manufacturersDemonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solutionStrategize with contacts to meet with key stakeholders in the Top 50 customer listUtilize CRM to prospect and grow current book of businessEducate customers on the ROI of product by providing training and product knowledgeLearn and apply Sandler Selling SystemAttend ongoing webinars and product training sessionsRequirementsWhat You Need Under Your Belt to Be Considered:Education:Bachelor’s degree; requiredSkills & Competencies:2-5 years outside sales experience; requiredMRO Industrial supply background; requiredProficient using Microsoft Office tools; i.e. Excel, Word and OutlookMust be organizedMust possess high energy and drive with a real desire to build businessDetail oriented with strong organizational skills and time management skillsFlexible when priorities shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read a situation and address conflict in a proactive mannerComfortable with public speaking with strong presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customersFlexible in learning and applying a new sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions where closing is the end resultBonus Points:Top rep, top percentile performer, consistent YoY overachievementExperience using CRM software; particularly PipeLineDealsExperience with industrial sales distribution; preferred but not requiredEstablished network of contacts in safety, purchasing, and decision-making roles within industrial facilities within the territoryTechnical Requirements:Minimum home internet speed of 10 Mbps – in other words, you have no problem streaming HD content at homePhysical Demands:Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of timeYou have no visionary impairments that would affect your safety to walk or drive through a facilityAbility to walk through end user facilities for up to 5 hours at a timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWork Environment:This position works remotely and generally works on the go, in a hotel, at an end user facility or from a home office
