Manage all aspects of litigation in complex business, financial, and professional liability cases.Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong case strategies.Develop and implement discovery plans, including document requests, depositions, and interrogatories.Represent clients in court during trials and hearings.Collaborate with legal teams and experts to gather evidence and build compelling arguments.Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs to support the litigation process.Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.Requirements:
5-15 years of post-law school experience, which may include a judicial clerkship.Excellent advocacy, discovery, and trial skills in business litigation.Strong writing and analysis skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal teams.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.Skills:
Exceptional advocacy skills in the context of business litigation.Proficient in legal research and analysis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Collaborative and team-oriented approach to legal practice.Working Conditions:
