We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Data Analyst with advanced expertise in Excel and Power BI, and substantial experience handling medium to large datasets. As the Legal Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing legal data, identifying patterns, and extracting insightful conclusions to support legal strategies and decision-making processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders, understanding their requirements and ensuring efficient data collection methodologies are in place. Our ideal candidate is a meticulous problem solver, with a robust background in identifying trends within legal data and committed to providing consistent reports and updates to stakeholders.Duties & Responsibilities

Analyzes legal data, identifies patterns, and extracts meaningful conclusions to support legal strategies and decision-making.Assists Associates or Shareholders in researching and preparing for cases, using data to create legal strategies.Gathers and reviews court documents, legal papers, and other relevant data sources.Collaborates with stakeholders to identify needs and maintains effective data collection processes.Responds to user inquiries and requests related to legal data analysis.Develops and implements databases and data collection systems to optimize data accuracy and quality.Ensures data privacy and compliance with legal regulations and best practices.Monitors and assesses trends and patterns in legal data, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders.Designs and builds data models to interpret patterns and trends in court cases and legal information.Tracks changes to legal data and assesses the impact on reporting and analysis.Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by conducting quality checks and collaborating with relevant teams.Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.Performs additional duties as required.Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).Minimum 5 years of experience where knowledge of Excel and Power BI is integral to the role.Experience working with or in a law firm preferred.Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, including writing complicated formulas to support data analysis needs.Knowledge of Azure Open AI and cognitive services a plus.Greenberg Traurig is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
