Job Description

Serves as the primary group level contact for day-to-day requests, account oversight and escalation for critical client service issues; responding timely and accurately to ensure client satisfaction.Responsible for coordinating the pre-renewal strategy and planning of assigned groups, including the scheduling of meetings, marketing, quoting, plan analysis and compilation of presentation materials.Present renewals, recommend benefit plan options, and confirm client decisions for designated accounts.Strategize with the account executive/broker to support all marketing, renewal and open enrollment related activities.Serves as knowledgeable resource for account management support team and clients in areas of eligibility, claims, COBRA, underwriting guidelines and employee benefits compliance.Ensures all compliance documents and contracts are completed on time and kept updated per regulatory requirements including Section 125 plans, SPD, COBRA, FSA, HRA and form 5500 filings.Delegates tasks to support team members as appropriate, ensuring work is completed within stated timeframes.Maintains excellent client, carrier and vendor relationships.Acquire and maintain high level experience in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Ease, Employee Navigator, Suvaun and other agency supported technology tools.Pursues professional development and continuing education by keeping current with technology tools, regulatory changes, product and service enhancements, and other industry trends.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Active life and health insurance license.Five+ years’ experience servicing employee benefit clients in the small and large group segment.Minimum one year experience presenting information in a group setting.High school diploma or equivalent.QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including correct grammar, spelling and punctuation in correspondence.High degree of critical thinking; ability to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparent.Demonstrated attention to detail; producing outcomes with minimal errors.Understanding of insurance concepts and applicable law as it relates to employee benefits.Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced environment.Ability to demonstrate advanced level proficiency with a variety of technology including MS Office.Works well with minimal supervision; able to function independently and as part of a team.Ability to travel to client locations in northern California.Pay Details
