sits on the 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort bordering Walt Disney World with a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre lagoon setting the stage for luxury which is as harmonious as it is captivating.The stunning resort will feature 433 rooms (to include 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites), 65,000 square feet of meeting space (40,000 indoor and 25,000 outdoor), a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside), a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining.What will I be doing?The Senior Sales Manager serves as the hotel representative to prospective clients and accounts in the West Coast market who are looking to contract group rooms, meeting space, food and beverage service, etc. Responds to sales inquiries, initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients, entertains clients, conducts site visits and answers questions, determines rates, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, services accounts and analyzes lost business for the hotel/s. Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals. Works with various departments to ensure requested services are provided to customers.Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals.Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts.Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.Travel to the West Coast several times per year for interactive sales calls and tradeshows, representing Conrad Orlando as an integral part of our commercial team.This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.What are we looking for?Excellent communication skills in all aspects: verbal, written and nonverbal.3-5 years’ experience in a comparable position in a Luxury hotel operation.Possess excellent organizational and administrative skills.Quality driven with a passion for excellence in guest service and satisfaction.Approachable, open minded and fair.Willingness and capacity to learn and apply new systems.Proficient in OnQ and Delphi.fdc.Desirable:Previous experience managing and/or coordinating the sales process preferably for a Luxury property.Capability to use Excel to generate and interpret data reports on business volume from sales territory and individual sales progress reports.Capability to use PowerPoint beyond required presentation skills and proactively create compelling up to date presentations for the sales team and other hotel departments to use in operations.The Benefits
