Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

3-5 Years experience in the Logistics Industry

Knowledge of transportation industry trends and practices

Experience using sales tracking or CRM software

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade audience

Strong organizational and presentation skills

Strong negotiation and collaboration

Industry knowledge in LTL, truckload, and overall transportation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team and in a competitive environment

Growth-minded and self-driven

Follow-up and follow-through skills with proactiveness

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to harness financial data to informed decisions/solutions

Mentor and coaching

Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive at Whole Freight dba GlobalTranz, you will focus on territory growth and client development in the small-to-medium-sized business (SMB) segment in multiple markets.

You will consult and educate on shipping solutions while providing unmatched levels of service and competitive rates to C-level Executives of businesses with frequent shipping volume.

Drives business by identifying and selling new prospects or clients.

Research leads, uncover potential needs and set appointments with key decision makers.

Solution selling; effectively present solutions through cost-benefit analysis.

Take the lead in coordinating, developing, managing all aspects of the proposal process (lead identification to close).

Make outbound calls, track results and log call activities in CRM.

Record new and existing prospect pipeline in a CRM and review sales funnel progress with consistency.

Senior executive is expected to meet with customers in person as needed in local market and may need to travel domestically in alternate markets (as needed).

Develop and maintain positive and long-term relationships with both customers and employees.

Partner with the operations and account management teams for onboarding and optimal customer satisfaction.

Excellent track record in achieving aggressive sales targets/goals in a specified time period.

Integrates and adjusts sales strategy to market conditions and client expectations.

Develops, implements and maintains sales communication strategies.

Is able to coach and assist new sales representatives as needed.
