In this role, you will cultivate and expand client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of our current and prospective clients' businesses, goals, technical challenges, and decision-making processes. The Account Manager brings a balance of software sales and consultative selling expertise, relationship management, requirements gathering, cost estimation, and strategic guidance. Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and convert them into new customers.Manage and grow client relationships to actively identify new opportunities for Dynamic Risk’s software solutions and consulting services.Accurately gather requirements of the engagement, establish the scope of work, estimate effort and value, and draft client proposals.Participate in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP), changes in the scope of work associated with ongoing projects, and all other proposal requests.Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, and develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align efforts and enhance the customer acquisition process.Ensure the sales pipeline and forecast are current in the CRM system and that weekly reporting is accurate.Occasional travel (10-20%) may be required for client visits and industry events.Minimum Qualifications:An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in Enterprise Software Sales.Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in working with or within energy industry organizations or consulting firms.Comfort with technology and the ability to convey technical information to prospects.Demonstrated ability to build enduring relationships with customers, creating value for both parties.Effective problem-solving skills to address objections and barriers in the sales process.Preferred Qualifications:Technical expertise in pipeline integrity, data management, or related disciplines would be an asset.Display a strong sense of self-direction and initiative.Collaborative and able to work effectively with internal teams.At this time, Dynamic Risk will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
