Purpose Of Position

To ensure the team maintains and manages current clients for Hexagon’s Mining division portfolio within the mining industry in the defined territory.

Help the team navigate and negotiate contract changes, upgrades, and amendments.Oversee and coordinate all account management activities and deliverables.Maintain communication and coordination with Sales, Marketing, Support, Product and executive team members; act as main point of escalation for the group while advocating for the clients' needs.Maintain up-to-date records in Sales CRM; provide ongoing feedback on system use and opportunities for efficiencies.Support team members with coaching, training, and identifying revenue opportunities.Continually foster relationships and work directly with clients to help them succeed and receive the intended value in the solutions.Achieve client satisfaction targets set on an annual and quarterly basis.Develop and implement a client strategy for the territory in conjunction with the Sales and Service and Support teams.Maintain and build strategic relationships with existing and potential clients and industry contacts.Work with other HxGN region and team members to collaborate on sales to ensure the client is aware of all HxGN portfolio solutions.Major Areas Of Responsibility

Ensure the team proactively addresses customer needs, promptly secures contract renewals, and actively seeks out opportunities to expand the product footprint within their accounts.Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing team members in the territory/region to execute the territory business plan.Responsible for the communication and coordination of client support and priorities and liaising with other departments in HxGN on behalf of the account management team.Set expectations within the team and provide training, coaching, and mentorship to achieve team targets.Provide technical and commercial advice to the account managers.Ensure client concerns are escalated appropriately through their account managers and intervene on their behalf as required.Present and demonstrate the technology solutions to clients as required to ensure the full product range and associated benefits are known.Identify, foster, and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry contacts supporting the attainment of the goals for the business.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory/region, industry, and client needs and requirements.Work collaboratively with the Product Management team to provide insights into client and industry product requirements as well as potential developments which will set us apart from competitors.Represent Hexagon in industry events and tradeshows and collaborate with the Marketing team and other global sales team members to prepare for such events.Represent the business in industry associations where appropriate to advance the interests of the wider Hexagon mining business division.Liaise with the Finance department on behalf of the team to ensure management of receivables in a timely fashion.Compliance with Hexagon’s Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.Other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.Knowledge And Experience - Required

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or equivalent – highly desirable.5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a technical and professional capacity is essential.Proven account and/or project management track record is essential.Commercial experience dealing with technical products and solutions.Knowledge And Experience - Desired

A passion for achieving business goals, sales targets, and working with and leading people.Multi-lingual; English is a prerequisite, but French or Spanish is an asset.Advanced skills in developing and maintaining client and team member relationships.Keen interest in technology.Travel

Domestic travel up to 50% of the time with the possibility of limited International travel.Benefits
