T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Front End Applications Developer to support a new initiative with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to modernize legacy software and applications that provide immigration status, criminal history, and real-time assistance to federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement that require assistance with carrying out their missions. This is an agile software development and support services program supporting mission-critical work for DHS.

The Front End Applications Developer will have overall responsibility for front end application coding design and standards.

Requirements:

Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environmentExperience designing and developing solutions with Angular, Angular JS, and Material IO in an Agile Software Development environmentExperience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management (Git), requirements (e.g. JIRA), automated testing, and deploymentExperience with Agile application development concepts including build automation, pair programming, testing automation and code management using GitHubExperience in front end/client JavaScript builds (webpack, NPM)Experience migrating from AngularJS to AngularExperience in utilizing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to implement common styles and web page layoutsExperience utilizing Storybook to build and maintain common Angular componentsExperience utilizing Spring WebFlux to handle large number of requests on a threadExperience with Web Security and Role Based access using JSON Web Token (JWT)

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Information Technology or a related field

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $175,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
