is seeking an experienced

Sr. Front-End Developer

to join our team based out of Washington, DC. The Sr. Front-End Developer designs, develops, tests and integrates custom Web applications and solutions interfacing with backend services.Although the position is mostly remote, there is a possibility of on-site work in the DC Metro area.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and integrate custom Web applications and solutions interfacing with backend services.Develop a cloud-based web application.Interface with senior-level customer management and SMEs.Develop scalable, secure, cross-platform web applications.Resolve complex design, implementation and/or performance issues.Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.Develop front end applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and other front end development frameworks such as Angular.Work with a development team for the development of both front-end web applications and back-end services; assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.Support all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition and specification to deployment and delivery to production.Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements; identify areas for improvement.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or substitute eight years of equivalent work experience.At least three (3) years of recent hands-on front end development experience, using HTML5/CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.Three (3) years of experience using Angular framework.Three (3) years of Web application, SOA, web service (SOAP or RESTful) development and deployment.Some experience in AWS log review.Experience in Cloud application development preferred.Experience using Postgres database preferred.Experience with unit testing preferred.Experience in developing innovative scalable, secure, cross-platform enterprise custom applications.Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers.Strongly PreferredOracle Spatial.GIS and geocoding.Large-scale relational database design and development.Desired SkillsExperience in applying Agile/Scrum methodology.Experience leading multiple concurrent software development projects.Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers.Preferred but not required experience:
