Medscape Education (a division of WebMD) is hiring a Senior Manager as their Impact product owner. It is a newly created role that will be responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders within Education, vendors, and the broader Medscape Professional Network to build out the strategic vision set forth by executive leadership. The Sr Manager is expected to perform all product management duties including product portfolio management, documentation, partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, requirements gathering and project planning, documentation, and post-launch product evaluation and maintenance. Stakeholders and teams include business, editorial, production, design, QA, data services, and marketing.They will drive the continuous improvement of the capability by representing the customer and business user needs, defining problems and developing solutions to enhance the capability.Primary Responsibilities:

Develop impact measurement products (e.g., claims-based measurement, surveys, data triangulation, accompanying insights generation) and define what is needed to deliver them.Work directly with the hiring manager and product, data, reporting, marketing, and business development teams to give ideas life and carry them through infancy to launch and iteration, ensuring ongoing product-market fit.Be responsible for the development of a roadmap to improve data products and capabilities within the EDU organization and be accountable for advancing along that roadmap.Identify product opportunities and evaluate product market fit with stakeholders and via market research.Take ownership (i.e. defining, operationalizing, and augmenting) of foundational and strategic capabilities.Supervise at least one team member to support and contribute to the broader function.Partner with business development functions to introduce new solutions to the market.Develop sound understanding of Medscape’s product portfolio, historical performance, educational impact measurement methodology, and data capabilities both internally and externally.Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.Create recommendations and action plans for solving problems.Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree.5+ years relevant experience.Experience in developing data products in healthcare/life sciences industries.Expertise in product development methodologies.B2B experience.Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.High energy, disciplined self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly matrixed environment is a plus.Experience working in digital media or education is a plus.Salary Range: $135,000 Plus bonus.This position can work out of our Newark, NJ, Atlanta, GA or El Segundo Office.
