Join Our Team: Attorney (Commercial Litigation & Product Liability) - Short Hills, NJAre you a skilled Attorney with 4-5 years of experience in commercial litigation and product liability matters? AmLaw Firm 100 is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team in our Short Hills office. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases with a focus on client service and professional growth.Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings, including trials, hearings, settlement negotiations, and mediations.Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategies and trial preparation.Manage discovery processes, document review, production, and deposition preparation.Maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and third parties.Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar with 4-5 years of litigation experience.Strong background in commercial litigation and product liability matters.Excellent legal research skills and superior writing abilities, with attention to detail.Previous state court or federal clerkship experience is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.Job Expectations
Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.Produce high-quality work product within established timelines.Maintain positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer and participating in meetings.Perform all assigned duties and projects efficiently.Physical Demands & Work Environment
