Responsibilities
Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-NexisDraft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, and motionsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsRepresent clients in court proceedingsCollaborate with senior attorney on complex casesMaintain accurate and up-to-date case filesProvide legal advice to clientsAttend client meetings and court hearingsRequirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state bar association where practicing lawStrong knowledge of legal principles and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-NexisAbility to write clearly and persuasivelyPrior experience in litigation is preferred but not requiredJoining our team as an Associate Attorney offers a competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work on diverse and challenging cases.
