We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Attorney specialized in Aerospace & Defense for our esteemed Legal firm. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals dedicated to serving clients in the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OFAC sanctions, governmental contracts, FAR supplements, administrative proceedings, and an active Michigan Bar. The candidate should also have a portable book of business. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the relevant field.Responsibilities:Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues related to aerospace and defense.Handle all aspects of governmental contracts, including negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution.Ensure compliance with OFAC sanctions and other relevant regulations.Interpret and apply FAR Supplements in the context of contract administration.Represent clients in administrative proceedings, including hearings and appeals.Maintain a portable book of business and develop new client relationships.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to aerospace and defense.Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents as required.Qualifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Active member of the Michigan Bar.Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an attorney in the aerospace and defense industry.Proficient in handling OFAC sanctions, governmental contracts, FAR Supplements, and administrative proceedings.Demonstrated ability to maintain a portable book of business.Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Interested in hearing more?
