This position is responsible for developing and managing the analytic support and budgeting, forecasting, and planning for assigned business lines and infrastructure groups. This position is part of a larger coordinated team where the ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with other team members is essential. A great opportunity to work closely with a strong team and have visibility to the larger organization.Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with assigned business lines to develop accurate and meaningful quarterly forecasts. Ensure profit plan is prepared in accordance with corporate guidelines, progress and issues clearly communicated to business leaders, and business partners understand the process.Develop insightful and standard reporting that will guide decision making for business lines.Positively influence assigned business lines profitability by providing insight related to such issues as pricing, efficiencies, capital optimization, expense control, or portfolio management.Collaborate in the development of business cases that are integral to the annual planning process.Prepare variance analysis and ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements.Gather and format data into reports and dashboards related to strategic initiatives.Ability to communicate clearly and present to executive leadership.Utilize technology and systems to automate tasks and reporting.Partner with Risk Management to evolve and develop support in correlation of the bank's risk based culture initiative.Qualifications

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, or Tableau. Essbase experience a plus.College degree. MBA a plus.7-10 Years of FP&A experience. Financial Services experience a plus.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Client service focused that anticipates internal clients in a manner that shows a commitment to continuous improvement and delivers high quality output.Attention to detail while demonstrating the ability to think critically and see the big picture.Ability to work in a team based environment and collaborate well with others.Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days in the office located in Chicago, IL.What CIBC Offers
