About The Role

The

“Sr Financial Analyst II – Revenue”

will join a fast-paced corporate FP&A team and will support CrowdStrike in forecasting revenue, ARR, and ACV accurately. You will provide the data and analyses for driving complex long-term financial models and any ad-hoc analyses to inform decision making by CrowdStrike’s senior management team and support the company-wide planning process. Among other responsibilities, in this role you will have the unique opportunity to work with various teams across the organization, such as Sales, Accounting, Data Analytics, and Product. Remote candidates will be considered but preference is to be based out of Irvine, Sunnyvale, or El Segundo, CA.

What You’ll Do

Drive financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planningValidate actual monthly ACV bookings/ARR and assist in producing the detailed short and long-term financial modelSupport the month-end financial close activities for bookings and revenue, including forecast versus actuals analysis and reportingProactively find ways to add value and efficiency to the bookings and revenue forecasting processesPlay a key role in the creation of executive presentations and other special projectsDevelop and manage visualizations for Finance and cross-functional business teamsPartner with Data Analytics and other teams to ensure accuracy of financial data

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required4-6+ years of experience in an investment bank, management consulting firm, and/or a high-growth private or public technology company in a finance/strategy/sales ops roleStrong knowledge of SaaS finance and accounting metrics – calculation of ACV bookings, ARR, churn/contraction, dollar retention rates, etc.High aptitude and excellent analytical skills for complex problem solving and financial modelingBias towards action – must be a self-starter who is comfortable advancing the ball with minimal direction or oversightSuperior attention to detail – must display the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in workExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiencesExperience using big data, such as extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasetsClear understanding of GAAP accounting and revenue recognitionComplete proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Saleforce.com, Tableau, Adaptive Insights Planning, and NetSuite a plus

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $80,000 - $130,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
