We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team. In this role, you will work independently and with a team to track and report monthly Revenue Accounting activities. This role will report to the Controller and support the organization’s goal of fiscal responsibility in a highly-dynamic, constantly evolving work environment.What will you provide?Supervise and lead the Revenue Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue with the Intacct ERP system.Collaborate with Client Success Team and Sales Operations to set up customers in the Intacct ERP system to ensure timely and accurate billing and revenue recognition.Perform regular reconciliations to ensure recognized revenue aligns with contractual terms and applicable accounting standards (ASC 606).Own the customer billing operations from order to cash collections, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing within the Intacct ERP system and coordinating with the Operations group to optimize process and resolve discrepancies.Monitor billing performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce billing errors and minimize revenue leakage.Lead accounts receivable collection efforts, including customer follow-up and support, coordination with Client Success Team and General Managers, and regular reporting to a broad group for visibility of status and metrics.Perform detailed reviews of revenue contracts to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting requirements.Review and analyze current revenue recognition and billing processes in order to recommend and implement policies, procedures, and best practices in line to support a scaling organization.Provide guidance on ad hoc reporting for management and other teammate requests.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for interfacing with Accounting and Finance team members, company leaders, and external parties relating to revenue and billing matters.Manage revenue-related projects and act as the Finance Department lead for relevant software upgrades and enhancements.Collaborative leadership with strong communication skills.RequirementsExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.Demonstrated ability to develop a plan of action to achieve a particular goal or objective.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed objectives through effective and efficient use of staff, procedures, policies, systems, and processes.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity; CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.Experience working with Intacct ERP system is preferred.Broad knowledge of applicable accounting standards related to revenue recognition (ASC 606).BenefitsAt Aspirion we invest in our employees by offering unlimited opportunities for advancement, a full benefits package, including health, dental, vision and life insurance upon hire, matching 401k, competitive salaries, and incentive programs.The US base pay range for this position starts at $70,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
