We are seeking a

Staff Revenue Accountant

to join our Chicago office. This role will support the day-to-day revenue accounting activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards. You will assist with monthly operations, technical accounting, process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Review sales contracts and escalate significant deals to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.Ensure accurate transfer of sales data from Salesforce CPQ to Sage Intacct for revenue recognition and timely invoicing.Collaborate with Service Operations to verify time tracking and billing rates, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in Intacct.Work closely with Sales and Accounts Receivable teams to support revenue recognition and client invoicing needs.Perform month-end closing activities including revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue reconciliations.Assist in preparing revenue analysis and forecasts.Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Order to Cash process.Conduct technical accounting research and help draft policy updates.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.1+ years of experience in accounting with public accounting or SaaS company experience.Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606 revenue recognition.CPA license (in pursuit or completion) is a plus.Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Intacct is beneficial.Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
