The Data Science team at Horizon Therapeutics is looking for an extraordinary data scientist who is passionate about crafting, developing, and fielding data science solutions that drives impact for patients.This role will be responsible for applying artificial intelligence and advanced analytics analyzing, optimizing, and reporting on marketing campaigns. The Data Scientist will deliver marketing analytics to understand the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives, campaign performance, KPIs, and providing actionable insight to inform decision making.The Data Scientist will conduct modeling processes from end-to-end including data pulling, cleaning, model building, calibration, cross-validation, and maximizing model accuracy. They will build and maintain optimization and simulation models to help improve marketing reach, frequency exposure and minimize spend across media channels. They will also design data visualizations and presentations to communicate model performance and business impact to brand teams and explain complex models in simple terms.Lastly, this individual should have a proven ability to handle time-sensitive projects, prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously, work independently and pay attention to detail, and to drive projects to completion for ad hoc or deep dive measurement and analytics.Qualifications and Skills Required:
Master’s with 2+ year of experience in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Informatics, Medical Informatics, Computational Biology or a related disciplineStrong working knowledge of AI-type algorithms, including machine learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, neural networks, and/or Bayesian modelsFamiliarity with Healthcare Data, Real World Data, Clinical Coding Systems, Claims data, EMR, and understanding of data analysis workflowsProficiency with Python and SQLAbility to execute with limited guidance and provide business insights to stakeholdersOur Values:
