Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, and claims involving allegedly unfair and deceptive trade practices.
Handle regulatory investigations involving consumer protection issues by State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
4-6 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues and/or defending data privacy and security class actions.
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
General tech fluency and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
Impeccable analytical and writing skills.
Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized law school.
Certifications:Relevant certifications in data privacy and security would be beneficial.
Skills:
Strong litigation and regulatory enforcement experience.
Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead significant projects and engage directly with clients.
