A Day in Your Life at MKSWe are looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager that will be responsible for the System Engineering Team within Plasma and Reactive Gas Solutions. This team is directly responsible for the design, implementation, and characterization of complex semiconductor systems.The candidate will lead a team of system and mechanical engineers who are a central pillar in the design of “R&D”, “New Product Introduction”, and “Sustaining” activities within the organization. The team will drive closure of complex issues on released products, continuous product improvement, and product compliance for new/legacy items.You Will Make an Impact By:Works closely with other engineering disciplines on the design of new and/or legacy productsManage a team of engineers with a focus on development and engagementWorks closely with Product Marketing and other cross functional groups to successfully meet customer expectationsEstablishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirementsPerform project activities, including PFMEA/DFMEA, design reviews, and creation of technical specificationsCommunicates technical information effectively in both oral and written forms through design reviews, failure analysis, product specifications, test plans and technical reportsActs as the primary technical interface when designing and integrating new products with the New Product Introduction teamRegularly interacts with other Senior leaders and requires the ability think systematicallyThe position is considered “Hybrid” and requires a certain number of days in the officeSkills that You Bring:BS in Electrical Engineering required or related experience >10+ years, or MS/PhD and 5+ years related experienceDemonstrate superior problem-solving techniques and is able to lead a technical team in all aspects of engineering including product specification, systematic design, circuit analysis, design for cost & manufacturability, PCB design, documentation, and test plan developmentHave an understanding of a product development process and knowledge of CE, SEMI S2, F47, RoHS and regulatory requirementsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsThis position can become a hybrid role of some remote and onsite days each week once initial onboarding is completed. The role must be based within commuting distance to Wilmington, MAWe are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
