Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the design, implementation and on-going support of departmental applications.Job Description

Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeadership and development for the business process analysis, system design, implementation of departmental applications.Provides oversight of system modifications and major system analyses and design.Plans, develops and ensures the effective implementation of formulated business strategies and long-term planning with leadership of various departments/divisions/groups all in support of the University’s mission and goals.Lead, guide, direct and evaluate the work of direct reports and various leaders within incumbent’s span of organizational control.Develop workforce planning and opportunities for development and succession of staff.Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred QualificationsGraduate degree.Experience working in a University environment.Ability to adjust to abrupt changes in priorities and strategy.Exercise good judgment and common sense in determining priorities.Strong business analysis/project management skills and experience.Strong technology background that aligns with the business objectives of departments within the University.Possess excellent people skills when working with internal and external contacts.Excellent time management, resource planning and project management skills required for seeing projects through to completion.Possess strong business analysis skills and excellent technical background to allow understanding and employment of technology solutions in business functions.Flexible and willing to work extended hours as necessary and recognize the need to do so.Strong technical aptitude with major technology platforms.Experience with design, creation and implementation of databases.Experience with design, programming and implementation of business solutions.Abile to conduct oneself in a professional manner.Excellent organizational and communication skills both verbal and written.Able to establish objectives, prepare action plans and communicate such plans clearly and effectively to all staff levels (management, technical and clerical).Strong business analysis/project management skills and experience.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field and eight years of related experience.Grade
