The Role:

Meptik is looking for an experienced, full-time Director of Project Management to join our expanding team.

The Director of Project Management works in partnership with key internal departments, external companies, contractors, freelancers and strategic partners to deliver complex service projects. The Director of Project Management will be involved primarily with managing Meptik internal resourcing, partner and client relationships and overall intercommunication ensuring all managed service projects are delivered timely, to quality and within budget.

Based on global project demand, interaction across other regions and time zones may be required to support the global team.

The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and proven prior experience of successful project management within a creative environment. They will need to be confident in managing team members, clients and customers, enforcing processes and raising issues.

The Responsibilities:

Control and manage multiple projects including budgets, teams, risks and outputs.

Oversee the multifaceted production process for complex internally managed client facing projects.

Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.

Determine and define project scope, objectives & resources.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.

Develop strategic partnerships with clients, partners and rental companies to advise the most suitable plan for projects.

Ensure strong & clear communication between all parties in a given project.

Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder management.

Make decisions within given tolerance.

Aid in developing processes related to project & client management.

The requirements:

Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, to budget, on time and to a high quality.

Proven project management and technical skills required to plan projects utilizing project management software.

Proven knowledge of large event management and projects with multiple stakeholders.

Self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude.

First class communication, analytical, problem solving and team management abilities.

Create and sustain a positive and productive team culture to ensure success.

Someone who is flexible, innovative and forward thinking.

Excellent project management and leadership attributes to include:

Planning

Risk & issue management

Task scheduling

Resource management

Communication management

Change control

Budget Management

Ability to present formally to senior staff.

Experience of working in the creative industries.

Knowledge of Asana, Confluence and Agile methodologies would be an advantage.
