Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Services (CS) tribe within Information Technology is focused on protecting DTCC from cybersecurity risks through world-class cyber risk management, talent, and governance practices. The Cybersecurity Governance area supports CS’s strategic goals as the first line of defense through development and adherence to cyber risk management practices, driving work streams to enable compliance and enact proactive measures to sustain a strong security posture that protects DTCC.
This role is Lead Scrum Master for the Protect squad within Cybersecurity Services. This squad has security engineers that are focused on resolution of complex issues, partner with other squads on new functionality to implement in Production, and innovate to improve the security posture across DTCC.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile squad.
Be an Agile Coach to squad team members through effective approaches to support them on squad and tribe goals.
Ensure the accurate use of scrum processes.
Shield the squad from outside distractions and remove squad impediments or roadblocks.
Drive maturity of security mindset by proactively identifying meaningful issues and control gaps in current processes; influencing behavior change within the organization and contributing to building a stronger security-focused culture.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong communication (written & verbal) skills and the ability to communicate in front of large audiences.
Experience in Agile methodology, with Scrum Master experience. Scrum Master certification is required.
Experience in Information Technology projects is required.
Familiarity with generic engineering practices such as CI (Continuous Integration), CD (Continuous Delivery), TDD (Test Driven Development), ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development), DevOps, DevSecOps, etc.
Basic knowledge of any information security standards (ISO27K, PCI, NIST, OWASP 10, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
