The Senior Accountant position will be primarily responsible for performing general ledger accounting tasks, as assigned. This position will assume a broad range of general accounting duties during the month end close, including preparation of monthly journal entries and completion of account reconciliations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Primary responsibilities are to:Responsible for the complete month end close processes for miscellaneous legal entities (including but not limited to journal entry, account reconciliation preparation, and intercompany settlements).Analyze and explain fluctuations and trends in balance sheet and P&L accounts.Prepare monthly and quarterly required schedules, documentation and manual adjustments supporting the reconciliation.Assist with the periodic analysis of transfer pricing.Design and create ad-hoc reports and analytics models to support the business.Assist in the preparation of account analyses for internal and external reporting purposes.Work with internal and external auditors to provide supporting documentation and answer audit inquiries.Communicate with other cross functional teams including IT, Shared Services A/R and A/P, Tax, FP&A, Treasury and Consolidations.Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.Certifications: None required, CPA a plus.Experience: 3-6 years of corporate and/or public accounting experience.Experience with ORACLE ERP, Hyperion, OOXP systems a plus.Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems.Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.Knowledge of personal computer databases and spreadsheets.Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.Effective organizational skills.Ability to work well as part of a high performing team, as needed.
