Our work depends on Software Developer Sr joining our team to modernize the United States Postal Service's (USPS) Integrated Fleet Management System (IFM).How a Software Developer Sr Will Make An Impact:Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies integrations between new COTS packages and legacy application systemsApplies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycleApplies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software integrations to meet those needsApplies advanced knowledge to create a wide variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for application integrationsApplies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needsProvides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusProvides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updatesWhat You’ll Need To Succeed:Required Experience: 3+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Agile methodologies, SDLC practices, ALM, JAVA, Bootstrap, Spring, Kafka, Microservices, APIs, Websphere, Eclipse, Subversion or GithubSecurity Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years.
