Coordinating with development teams to find out the needs of the application.Using the Python programming language to create scalable code.Application testing and bug fixing.Creating the back-end elements.Utilizing server-side logic to incorporate user-facing components.Integrating storage methods for data.Design and implementation of high-performance, low-latency applications.Upgrading the functionality of current databases.Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

Understand OOP and MVC Concepts.At least 5 years of experience with Python.5+ Experience in database design, optimization, and queries including strong knowledge of MySQL.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Focus on writing clean, well designed and scalable code.Experience with Git.Nice to Have:

Experience working with Javascript libraries (Vue.js is a plus).Frontend experience working with Javascript libraries and the capacity to work around limitations inherent to it.Knowledge of Kubernetes and Dockers and Containers is a plus.Knowledge of AWS is a plus.A Computer Science/Engineering degree is helpful, but not required. People with relevant experience will be considered.Bonus points for contributions to an open source project, a dedicated personal website/blog, an active GitHub account.Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year in most US locations.
