The Role

ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer with ITAM

experience. We will provide support and guidance to get you up to speed on some of the most amazing projects! We will set expectations for what success looks like. What You Will Be Doing

As a ServiceNow ITAM Developer you will drive engineering and development, and contribute to implementation of HAM Pro for our clientExperience in hardware fulfillment, inventory and distribution workflows in HAMExperience with developing and troubleshooting scoped applicationsAssist in the CMDB, Configuration and IT Asset Management in building performance to ensure optimal performance and operationServe as the Technical Guide for all things HAM/HAM ProReflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate with technical SMEs and stakeholdersParticipate in user acceptance testing of the resulting maps, impact rules and event management workPromote your update sets and data across applicable SN environmentsRemediate any production incidents that arise related to this scopeAlign with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patternsProactively maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk & inefficiency

What You Bring Along

4 - 8 years of experience in application development and/or software engineering on a cloud platformExpert experience with ServiceNow HAM ProExperience with Discovery and service discovery capabilities within ServiceNowComprehension of, and the ability to communicate and implement ITAMAbility to comprehend, modify and create server-side, object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShellAbility to research and independently learn new technical information to perform configuration, operation, or network connectivity of applications, operating systems and network devicesExperience in system administration of Linux and Windows serversExposure to protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and RESTIT Operations experience in storage, network, and compute of enterprise environmentsService-oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc.)Understand Credential less and Credential based DiscoveryInstall, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow ITAM visibility with a focus on the discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors and Multisource CMDBAbility to prevent duplicate CIs with CI identifiersExtend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application PatternsKnowledge and ability to configure, manage and maintain MID serversProficient in working with command line console for Service MappingAbility to work with and migrate patterns between Environments for Service MappingProficient in configuring Identification Rules for Service MappingAbility and knowledge in Discovery of multi-tier services including advance pattern configuration for Service Mapping

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience

Certifications:ServiceNow Certified System AdministratorServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperServiceNow Software Asset Management and/or Hardware Asset Management (CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM)ITIL Foundation (preferred)

The salary range for this job is $96,000 to $147,000 in the United States, including (but not limited to) California, Colorado, and New York City. The amount offered will depend on additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. In addition, the successful candidate will be offered a performance-based incentive plan, health insurance, 401k contributions, a flexible (unlimited) paid time off policy, and 10 paid holidays per year.
