THE ROLE

Insomniac Events is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager of Travel to work directly with Executive leadership to actively develop and execute Insomniac travel initiatives and enhance our ticketing systems. The Project Manager, Travel will report into Executive Leadership and will play a key role in establishing strategies and leading change across Insomniac's travel operations. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

Manage end to end process improvement implementations across various processes and systems.

Partner with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to enhance system processes, workflow, and expenditure control.

Partner with our travel agencies and internal teams with auditing and approvals of internal travel and accommodation for various bookings for events.

Develop process to monitor data and metrics specifically associated with travel to events and ticketing systems.

Conduct data analysis and assess opportunities to improve various platform performance and operations.

Deliver transparent and timely updates to leaders regarding operational audits, best practices and process improvements.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop priorities to ensure that all teams are properly trained in developed areas.

Lead process implementation, vendor audits and vertical implementations and contribute to the long-term operational strategy and developments.

Recruit, train and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams.

Responsible for other projects as assigned on a regular or occasional basis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or other related degree.

7+ years experience in entertainment/live events industry.

Proven ability to manage and develop cross-functional projects.

Experience engaging senior-level management on various business concepts through identifying needs of stakeholders and working cross-functionally to drive successful implementation and delivery, tracking outcomes and evolving based on results.

Proven ability to collect, synthesize, analyze and visualize complex sources of data to derive insights and form recommendations that improve operational efficiencies.

Experience in operational process design, implementation and improvement.

Organized and strong communicator with effective presentation and negotiation skills.

Must have experience in project management and leading change management.

Ability to take on multiple projects with executive stakeholders.

Experience in database usage with platforms such as Airtable.

Some travel may be required (economy).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments while on site at events.

Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evenings and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events.

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 USD. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law. It is estimated based on what a successful California applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Insomniac takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
