Job DescriptionIt is an exciting time at Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., as we are looking for a Quality Manager to join our leadership team to support and guide the Quality Department to continued success.

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager holds a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving and managing the plant's quality assurance and control initiatives. This position ensures that all products meet stringent aerospace standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to significantly impact the quality and reliability of aerospace products.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and AS13100.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality assurance team.

Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Oversee the investigation of quality issues using root cause analysis methodologies.

Review and approve all revisions to internal process procedures and Quality system procedures.

Schedule and review internal and external audits.

Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related customer inquiries and audits.

Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to assess and improve supplier quality.

Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports to senior executives.

Oversee Quality for the FAA Part 145 Repair Station.

Required Skills:

Strong technical acumen required including an in-depth understanding of quality systems and requirements.

Proven leadership skills.

Ability to manage complex quality issues.

Possess a strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead change.

Strategic thinker capable of setting a clear vision.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality management.

At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Experience utilizing 8D methodology to conduct root cause analysis.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with FAA.

Level of Education:

Bachelor's Degree required.

ASQ Certified Quality Manager preferred.

Six Sigma Greenbelt required / Blackbelt preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $125,100 to $187,700 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year and 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
