This includes having the strong ability to look around the corner at emerging technologies and advise senior leadership around the strategic technical vision for the tower. You will play a key role in furthering the modernization journey for Pharmacy Services Segment (PSS) IT in alignment with the Enterprise IT strategy.*This position is open to multiple CVS locations to include remote.Required QualificationsBest in class technical subject matter expertise and domain knowledgeSME level understanding of cloud design and architecture for one or more public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP) to deliver large-scale distributed solutions across the full enterprise stackSME level technical skills in application and integration architecture, security and automation along with a working knowledge of IT operationsSME level understanding of APIs and microservices-based architecture is a mustExperience working with technologies that work as glue between modern apps and legacy infrastructure leveraging streaming platforms like Apache KafkaAbility to collaborate with Digital, IT, EA, Ops and Security to deliver solutionsExperience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOpsHands-on technologists with coding skills and proficient in modern technology stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Kafka etc.)Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologiesDemonstrable hands-on experience is a mustFacilitates adoption of cloud-native/cloud-first architectures.Experience integrating with legacy mainframe/mid-range AS400 applications including developing roadmaps for modernization of the applicationsPreferred QualificationsDomain Driven Design expertise:Map the domain scope to Bounded Contexts /MicroservicesConduct Event Storming to define Strategic DesignDefine road map based on the value realizationAnalyzing the domain using Event Storming:Perform Event Storming to identify domain events, commands, persona or entities to facilitate a structured conversation about the domain by Business and IT.Leverage Event Storming helps to define the following design patterns:Strategic Design:Bounded ContextUbiquitous LanguageContext MappingTactical Design:AggregatesEntities and Value ObjectsDomain Events and ServicesApplication ServicesEducation & Experience10+ years in design/development experience5+ years of hands-on cloud implementation experienceBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field requiredMasters Degree in Computer Science or related field preferredPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 - $288,400.00.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
