Through advances in cancer detection and treatment guidance, we will help eradicate the disease and the suffering it causes.The Software Engineer II, Sitecore will be integral to the design and development of software for Exact Sciences, utilizing Sitecore technology. This engineer will focus on improving software design, collaborating with their peers and effectively communicating with other representatives of the business. This position requires a focus on writing great code and a strong understanding of the project and software development lifecycles. This person must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to deliver best in class software products to the business.Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:Demonstrate basic theories, skills, and practices to accomplish work assignments of low to medium complexity.Build defined features, investigate and fix bugs, and write tests related to software components of moderate complexity with limited instructions for new projects and work provided by leadership.Initiate independent software design with guidance from others. Participate in reviewing design alternatives, problems, and solutions.Communicate status updates on individual project-based assignments to the project team.Provide professional advice on decisions or actions that may impact the outcome of a task or workflow of the team/work group.Build productive internal collaborative partnerships with peers, SMEs, and decision-makers.Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.Experience developing software with object-oriented code.RESTful web services, Relational Databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Entities Framework).Designing and developing apps that access and or utilize cloud-based frameworks (e.g., Azure, Amazon AWS Services/SDKs, etc.).Agile development tools; including, but not limited to, JIRA, Confluence repository.Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of development experience with building customer-facing web applications and websites.Proficiency in web front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.5+ years demonstrated experience with using Sitecore, including the Sitecore Experience Platform, Sitecore Experience Manager, and Solr to develop solutions or configuring and administrating Sitecore, as well as making version upgrades.Demonstrated working knowledge of coding applications that support multiple languages/locales.Sitecore Developer Certification.Experience in Sitecore Headless development.Experience with React Framework.Salary Range:$85,000.00 - $135,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location.
