$285,000 - $1,250,000 annuallyJob Details:The Managing Director Sales and Trading TDS has responsibility to develop the banks FX franchise with Institutional clients in the U.S.A. and Canada, ensuring positions are within approved limits, while maintaining and enhancing the Banks profile and market share.Depth & Scope:Consults closely with the banks other operations in Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific and the U.S.Responsible for developing the Institutional Foreign Exchange Sales strategic objectives.Provides expert knowledge of market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well informed decisions.Position develops and maintains contacts with market participants.Observes strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm's procedures.Understands and will comply with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner.Responsible for executing Profit & Loss supervisory tasks.Responsible for practicing and communicating bank policy information and strategy between your product head and relevant trading personnel.Responsible for being aware of and understanding the approved Business Strategies (Strategic Business Reviews SBRs), applicable to your business, and ensuring that all of your business dealings are in alignment with these strategies.In your sales role capacity, you must obtain a current market price from an appropriate trader, either verbally or electronically, before committing to a binding transaction.You are bound by Credit Risk Policies and procedures, as they apply to your business and are responsible for being aware of and understanding such policies and procedures and ensuring that applicable sales and trading activity is in line with those policies.You are required to read and understand the Trading Supervision Standard.You are required to demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviours in alignment with TD policies and practices.Job Requirements:Education & Experience:Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.Series 7 and 63 required.7+ years related experience.Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities.Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.Company Overview:TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
