Accountable for achieving current annual sales targets and margins while positioning the business for continued growth in future years.Enabling sales team to achieve sales quotas.Provide sales coaching to improve Account Manager skill sets.Create a positive employee engagement environment to overcome remote management challenges with direct reports.Implement new business development practices with Account Managers.Relationship management with key builder distributors and builders.Negotiate contracts with builders for fulfillment through distribution.Ensure Account Managers are working with distributor outside sales personnel.Provide quarterly performance reviews with Account Managers and key contract distributors.Implement the basic sales principles of the “Challenger Sale” from the direction of the National Sales Director/General Manager.Provide input to all S&OP processes to ensure supportive demand planning manufacturing and adequate inventory deployment to achieve sales plans.Become an active member of local industry associations such as NAHB, NKBA, ASID and attends all meetings and join selective committees.Holds and leads regular builder tracking meetings with all regional Account Managers.Skills Sets:

Background/Experience Required:

Bachelor of Science. MBA preferred.History of professional skill development and learning.Progressive sales leadership career (12+ years) working with the home building and remodeling industries (builder), preferably in the home appliance industry.Successful history selling building products to distributors and home builders.Trade customer negotiations.Managing “quote/pricing” practices with sales personnel and trade customers.Key account planning and development disciplines.Remote sales leadership.Computer savvy – internet, creative PowerPoint presentation development, word, and excel spreadsheets.Self-motivated with the ability to work under little or no supervision.Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.Travel: Minimally 50%.To be considered for this role, candidates must reside in any of the following states: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, or Vermont.The salary range for this role, for candidates based in
