You'll be heavily involved in driving process improvement, maintaining a safe work environment, and tracking performance/employee engagement. As an Area Manager, you will oversee all associates and leads.What you’ll do:Review the weekly work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.Partner with other new Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that we are operating an efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.Lead a team of warehouse associates to fulfill the ShipBob mission of assisting our clients in growing their online success by delighting their customers, on a daily basis.Responsible for ensuring teams are properly trained, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.Other duties and responsibilities as necessary.What you’ll bring to the table:2+ years of leadership experience.Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field, preferred.Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.Classification:
