Summary:

To actively market Suddath household goods products and services to corporate prospects in designated territory. To effectively identify, market to and manage prospects/clients within that assigned market territory. To ensure that individual sales goals and objectives, within the business plan, are accomplished within prescribed time frame. Additionally, to support senior management in other required duties when requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with senior management team, in developing strategies and sales objectives for marketing Suddath’s services to corporate prospects in the national account sector.Actively market and effectively manage an assigned territory for new prospect/client development; targeting key cities/states within the specified territory for maximum sales production.Participate in, and lead, sales presentations and negotiations.Meet or exceed annual individual sales goals and objectives within the prescribed time frame.Effectively develop corporate leads and sales activity.Timely and accurate completion of required reports, maintenance of data in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) system, and any other information requested by senior management.Participate in specified relocation conferences on national, regional and local basis.Work closely with Marketing Department in leading proposals, presentations, RFPs and other collateral materials as required.Travel to support marketplace activity and company requirements – may be frequent and could include overnights.Work closely with UniGroup Sales and Contracts team on pricing, contract terms and conditions.Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients and service partners.Accept additional job assignments and participate in project work as requested.Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.Required Job Skills:

Demonstrated Sales and Leadership skills required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prospective client relocation policies and contract documents.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with prospect contacts and others as appropriate.Must have ability to effectively present information to senior management, prospects, and/or public groups.Highly customer service oriented/driven interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday.Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to meet deadlines and prioritize work.Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related appropriate programs and software.Demonstrated ability to work across cultures.Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

College degree or equivalent work experience required; Minimum five to seven years business development experience in Relocation Management role within relocation management company, mobility consulting company or equivalent experience; Proven track record of developing prospects and securing new clients; Prior familiarity with assigned territory.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Outlook; Experience with MS DynamicsCRM a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:

CRP and/or GMS certification preferred.
