We process over 350 million payment transactions per day with a peak throughput of over 8,000 transactions per second all while maintaining millisecond fast response time. All this is done for some of the largest merchants in the US.This fast-paced online transaction processing environment requires a passionate critical problem solver who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with modern engineering practices and solutions.What you will do:Leverage your expertise as a full-time, hands-on software engineer on an online transaction processing (OLTP) application based in C and TAL on the HP NonStop platformDeliver quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environmentsAutomate testing and deployments through CI/CD processes (play a QE role as necessary)Responsible for design, build and support of aligned application(s) or platform(s)Own tech stories, participate in code reviews, and support productionDesign performant, efficient, effective, and reusable technical solutionsPartner effectively with DevOps, Production Support, and peer platform teamsWhat you will need to have:10+ years of experience in software engineering roles7+ years of experience with HP NonStop5+ years of experience with C and TAL5+ years of experience with Enscribe, Pathway, DDL, and SQL Server MP (NonStop)3+ years of experience in payments processing3+ years of experience engineering OLTP applicationsAbility to clearly communicate with peers and senior leadersWhat would be great to have:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experienceExpertise in SQL MX, OSSExperience building solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)Important info about this role:We’re better together.
