This senior role involves overseeing the creative, strategic, and operational direction to deliver excellence. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, developing relationships, and strategies to increase service offerings. The Account Director is also responsible for the overall financial performance of the account(s) and ensuring the achievement of budgeted profit.Must have recent Life Science experience and experience in product launch to be considered for this role!JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. A combination of work experience and education can be substituted.5+ years of experience in Account Management4-7 years sales or project management backgroundMinimum 3 years’ experience in marketing production service delivery or a sourcing roleStrong subject matter expertise in Creative Production or SourcingWorking knowledge of campaign management and content production across all media channelsUnderstanding production and versioning of TVC elements, digital and social execution, print (including direct mail, literature), Press and Out of Home (OOH)Experience with Project Management, Workflow, and Digital Asset Management technologyExperience with the billing cycle from invoice generation to accounts receivablesExperience in more than one media typeDemonstrate ownership and management of one or more P&LsJOB DUTIES
Oversee one or more account teamsManage the team to ensure the delivery of BAU operational excellenceManage the day-to-day client relationshipIdentify opportunities to develop the accountDirectly responsible for account P&L, analyzing where time is spent on the account.*Conduct diagnostic meetings with existing clients for process audits along with issue tracking and resolution*Provide support in crafting responses to RFIs/RFPs and SOW's*Provide quotes and build client pricing schedules*Seek opportunities to expand service offerings*Conduct budget review meetings with the client as neededEnsure regular communication with clients and manage client expectationsBe the senior point of contact and escalation point for the client*Plan yearly scope of work/budget with the client*Oversee the management of project/campaign details from start to completionTrain the client on how to use internal Tag systems as requiredIdentify opportunities to expand the businessSuccession planning- Oversee the growth and management of staffOversee the creation of Management Information (MI) regularly, including metrics for KPIs and SLAsMonthly reportingProvide input for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) contentPer New York state requirements, this posting reflects the salary range for this position for a New York based individual: $110k-120k per annum. Compensation varies depending on job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
